Denford Ltd is a manufacturer and supplier of machine tools, CAD/CAM software and workshop equipment to schools and colleges around the world. Established in 1953, Denford was one of the first manufacturers in the world to develop a CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) lathe specifically for technical training. In addition to their own products, Denford works with a number of third party suppliers to offer products covering robotics, rapid prototyping, lasers and cutter/plotters.
The company is represented on the stakeholder group by Andrew Denford, Chairman of the company and founder of two engineering challenges, the F1 in Schools Technology Challenge and the more recent 4x4 in Schools Technology Challenge.
